We have been raising Corgi puppies for 38 years. Corgi Canines is a small farm located in Pima, Arizona. We became a Corgi fancier in 1980, when we received our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We have owned the fun loving Corgis continuously since then or perhaps we should say they've owned us! Most of our puppies have found families in Washington State and now we are happy to include Arizona as Snowbird and will be here November through March possibly April.
Corgis are 10 to 12 inches high and weigh roughly from 18 to 28 pounds, they are a handy size to almost any situation, small enough to be easily cared for in a city apartment, yet substantial and hardy enough for country life.
Corgis require very little time for grooming. One of the great attributes of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is the coat. It sheds dirt, doesn't tangle and protects the dog from the temperature extremes.
Corgis are very intelligent. The Corgi has always been valued as a watchdog. His acute hearing alerts him to unusual sounds, and his big dog bark means business when something is amiss. Wonderful family pets for kids and adults.
